The Message

We are a Cross preaching, Spirit-filled church that believes that in the time that we find ourselves living in, it is easy to become fearful, afraid, and often very confused. As we see the economy in disarray, terrorism, and so many other topics that we could name, you may find it hard to know what to believe. You could find yourself ridden with fear. Let me tell you what the Word of God says, 2 Tim 1:7 "God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind." The good news is that when you surrender in place your life in Christ Jesus you will find the power, the love, and the sound min, even in stressful times. When you come and you humble yourself to Christ, as in 1 Peter 5:6-7, "Humble yourselves therefore under the Mighty Hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." Not only will He help, but He will be with you, because you will be in Him, and He will be in you. With Christ in our lives, we are more than conquerors. But what is missing in the lives of most today is to know how to truly have victory in their lives. We've got preachers claiming you just need to discover the champion in you, and others telling you it is because of generational curses, another telling you to confess and believe for wealth, but the truth is that your answer is not in how much money you have, or in high self-esteem. You can't walk free from drug and alcohol addiction by declaring you are a reformed drug addict, twelve steps to man's recovery is not your answer. You see the answer that you seek is found only in the Work of Christ at Calvary. I know many will tell you that we must go past the Cross, but I ask you, can you go past your back bone. Of course not, you would be a bowl of jello without your back bone. So the Church has become weak by trying to do things without it's back bone, which is the Cross. You will never be free, you will always live in fear and bondage when you do it man's way. We also have a step program at Victory and Praise, and it is ever how many steps it takes you to get to the altar and accept Jesus Christ. Then you can begin to walk in what Christ did at Calvary.

Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God."

Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death."

John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

We can only have rest when we place our faith in the Blood of Jesus and look to no one accept to Him and Him alone. The Bible tells us that the past, present and future, unlike other religious writings it is the only one that gives us the answer for our separation from God (sin), and also give us an answer and that is to be born again. That only comes back to Jesus Christ. Your hope, your future, your freedom and your peace of mind is found only through Christ Jesus and His Finished Work at Calvary.
